
April Yates Hardy, MSOD – Director of Academic Affairs
April earned a Masters of Science in Organizational Development from Central Washington University. Prior to joining the program at its inception in 1992, she worked in both the profit and not-for-profit sectors as a manager, teacher, and consultant. April manages many aspects of the academic program including curriculum coordination, resident recruitment and orientation, and the residency program’s marketing and community relations. She co-coordinates the medical student clerkships and sub-internships and teaches organizational development theory and practice to residents. April values the opportunity to work in an educational environment with great people, enjoys the diversity of her responsibilities, and is committed to the mission of the program. She has lived in Yakima for 29 years and appreciates the spirit of community. She is an active volunteer and community board member. Outside of work, April is a theatre mom. She and her husband, a mental health therapist, follow their son's local theatrical pursuits. April enjoys reading, movies, creative projects, travel, quiet moments, and time spent with family and friends. |
