Debra Gould, MD, MPH - Family Medicine Faculty
Originally from rural Canaseraga, New York, Deb received her medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She completed her residency in family medicine at Highland Hospital University, Rochester, New York. She went on to receive a Masters degree in public health and completed a 2-year fellowship in health services research at the University of Washington, Seattle. Deb chose family medicine because she enjoys the process and complexity of working holistically with patients within the context of their families and community. She proclaims that CWFM is one of the best organizations in which she’s worked; the staff, faculty and residents genuinely care about each other and their patients. Deb coordinates the Ambulatory Family Medicine and Community Medicine rotations. Aside from CWFM, Deb and her husband, a developer of mental health and chemical dependency programs for Yakima County Department of Corrections, travel throughout the western United States white water kayaking. Deb also enjoys music, reading and studies classical guitar and Tibetan Buddhism. |
