Jacobo Rivero, MD - Family Medicine Faculty
Originally from Mexico, Jacobo received his medical degree from the Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana in Mexico City and completed his residency at Family Medicine of Spokane. Following residency, Jacobo moved to Carlsbad, New Mexico, where he worked as a family medicine physician, an emergency room physician, and the Chief of Medical Staff. He is especially interested in geriatric medicine, genetics, medical ethics and hospice/palliative care. Jacobo and his wife have eight children. Favorite family activities include hiking, fishing, snow-skiing, and anything outdoors. Although the pony-tail is gone, Jacobo enjoys Yakima weather for cruising on his Harley.
