Tanny Davenport, MD - Family Medicine Faculty
Lower Yakima Valley native, Tanny always knew he’d be a doctor. He earned a Bachelors degree at Whitman College prior to entering medical school at the University of Washington. Tanny completed two medical school rotations and residency at Central Washington Family Medicine, and is board-certified. He loves working with the CWFM staff "because everyone works hard to provide the best possible care for patients—and has fun while doing it!" As a family medicine physician, Tanny enjoys taking care of all generations of a family unit. He has a deep appreciation for the cultural diversity of the Yakima Valley as he is of mixed Caucasian-Filipino heritage. When not spending time with his wife, a first grade teacher, or his large extended family, Tanny has fun playing basketball, golf, and working out. Tanny is site co-coordinator for the UW Family Medicine Clerkship, oversees the residency ENT/Ophthalmology curriculum and the Wednesday didactic series.
